Mission & Vision

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Jefferson County Local Development Corporation (JCLDC) will develop and cultivate a strong economic environment, which supports businesses and nurtures growth and new investment in the County.  We are dedicated to promoting and facilitating economic development and to improve the quality of life in Jefferson County by increasing its economic base through job creation and new capital investment.

Vision Statement:

Jefferson County is one of the fastest growing areas in New York State.  It is a dynamic place to live and work and leads the way in the pursuit of many new and exciting areas of economic activity.  The Jefferson County Local Development Corporation is a driving force in the County’s efforts to develop an innovative and sustainable economy.  It effectively utilizes incentive programs of loans and grants to create and retain jobs, develop the entrepreneurial spirit by encouraging start-up businesses, and collaberates with other development agencies to better serve the people of our County.
